Glastonbury Beauty Essentials
5-day Greenfield Festival is almost at its start. What beauty essentials shall we take with? Something for the face, possibly 1 or 2 skincare products, some hair products, deodorant must’ and of course, makeup bits. Practicality is everything when it comes to festivals so when I was searching for beauty goodies for you, I wanted to mix-&-match variety from higher price point to very reasonable and also, small tube packages when possible.
So here are the 14 – practical, price-reasonable and yet, amazing Beauty Essentials for Glastonbury Festival.
Cleansing Face Wipes Botanics
Power of plants, the Botanics Cleansing Face Wipes are fantastic for a quick wipe. Kind-0f ok – for a short period of time. I am going to go against exactly what I usually preach to each client and, can’t stress enough by saying – do not use cleansing wipes! BUT, there is a time for everything. Like we have time for naughty things days of cake, cheese and alcoholic beverages, we surely able to use face wipes – as an emergency, of course. After all, it is music-festival time. Darphin Intral Soothing Creme
Sometimes we forget about the great products when new arrivals coming in. This Intral Soothing Creme from Darphin has been here for years and, still top face product for giving your skin calm soothing effect on the skin, moisture, calms irritation and is without all syntethic preservatives. All good year around-er especially for sensitive skin. Comes in 50ml for £45 – perfect small tube!
Rodial Dragon’s Blood Eye Masks
8 sachets of 5g of each Eye Mask which will soothe, hydrate and tone your under eye area and repair the skin cells. Added hyaluronic acid for plumping effect and arnica helps with dark circles and puffiness. Rodial Dragon’s Blood Eye Masks found for only £27 comparing with other sites. Erborian CC Creme SPF 25 – High Definition Radiance Creme
Who haven’t heard of korean brand, Erborian. Only briefly in case you haven’t – Erborian is a fusion of South Korea Beauty and French luxury using natural science and unique formula’s to rejuvenate and gives the skin to natural luminosity. I have not met anyone who doesn’t like this product. As we already know, CC stands for colour control. This CC Creme Centella Asiatica is not just ultra moisturising but has an ability with these CC pigments ‘colour controllers’ completely adjusting to your skin tone. On application, I have noticed that even small unwanted’ spots on the skin were covered. It can be used on its own after your daily moisturiser or under your foundation. For those women who prefer really natural look, this CC Creme is enough, in terms of coverage plus a touch of concealer you can add. 45ml goes for £38 and spf.25 is always bonus! Let’s hope we have a bit of sun at Glastonbury.

The Hyaluronic Blush – a gorgeous mousse texture with this pigment, you get an instant ‘pop’ of pink colour on your cheeks. Little goes long way. As we heard on many occasions – less is more, it is definitely the case here. With this really strong pigment you need a really tiny bit. It will also sculpts your cheekbones and creates volume. There might be a moment throughout the festival, after a bit of more drinking, your skin might be lacking a healthy colour, this blush will give you instantly hello, hello… – I look healthy!
Kevyn Aucoin The Essential Mascara and Kevyn Aucoin The Precision Eye Definer Stealth
With Kevyn’s Mascara you’ll get a look of multi coats of mascara just with one easy application. It will define your lashes, lengthen and curl and glamorous look full lashes in seconds! Or, By Terry Growth Booster Mascara in Terrybleu n.3 is worth to try.
The Percision Eye Definer from Kevyn is waterproof, smudged-proof and no sharpening necessary as it all happens automatically when you unscrew the top lid of the pencil. It is semi-matt finish and with a strong pigment you can easily create smokey eye. Literally, took me seconds. After first application, you can smudge the pigment – but you have to be quick – before the pencil hardens and, from just the liner you can create whole smokey look! £26 and comes in 6 shades.
Chantecaille Lip Chic Wild Poppy
I have mentioned this beauty-lippy’ before. I am sure there are ladies who relate to my lip obsession. Chantecaille Lip Chic Wild Poppy is incredibly moisturising, feels so soft after the application and the collagen helps to plump and smooth your lips. Its like lip balm, lipstick and gloss in one. With high pigment in this formula, even the most natural shade looks fantastic. Go and try and forget about the lipliner with this one. I am sure this lip colour will instantly pick you up and make you feel bright and gorgeous, despite the muddy moment.
Diptyque Scent Geranium Odoratta Roll-on 20ml £32

Neutrogena Nourishing Hand Cream with Nordic Berry
Lost found Neutrogena again but this time with a lovely berry scent. With Scandinavian superfruits, the hand cream is nourishing and hands feel very soft. It penetrates easily without any greasy feel to it. Absolute gorgeous hand texture and absolute bargain! – 75ml goes for £2.93
Aesop Spray Deodorant 50ml £23
This Aesop spray deodorant with an appealing Vetiver scent – aluminium-free deodorising spray contains zinc and essential oils including Rosemary, Sage and Eucalyptus. Seriously excellent product – amazing scent for neutralise underarm odour. OMG – the best deodorant ever!
Aussie Festival Fresh Dry Shampoo 180ml
It might be wet out there and hair gets pretty flat and damp. Why not try The Festival Fresh Aussie Dry Shampoo for only £2.99. With a peachy scent, this dry shampoo gives your scalp a dry effect as your hair is clean again. Voila!
You might want a creamy texture, for the extra sheen and definition to the hair, the Windle & Moodie Cream Sheen is brilliant product to apply on damp or dry hair. The texture is between moisturising cream and oil and its very light consistency. Without any heavy residue, this cream injects your hair with extra moisture and shine. Seventeen Colour Clash Nail Effects
Nail colour became an important piece of accessories whenever we go these days. Without a nail colour, an outfit is unfinished. I thought of a bit of fun for this event so I chose – Seventeen Colour Clash Nail Effect £3.99. It contains mixture of colour-dots different sizes for creating lots of abstract unusual results. The best effect would be on either brown or grey colour nail base, as becomes more intense or, on its own. Fun, fun, nail abstract fun!
