Alona Bridal Makeup at The Goring Hotel in London Victoria
It varies when it comes to bookings and securing Bridal Makeup or any other Makeup related work/project. A Bridal Makeup, I have done in the past, a makeup trail I would usually secure 3-6months in advance but, this time, it was different. I met Alona about two weeks before her Big Day. It was the beginning of October 2014. Within few minutes we exchanged phone numbers and arranged to confirm a date for the Bridal Makeup on her Big W’ Day. Katerina from California, who have known Alona for over twenty years also joined. Did not want-to-miss her best friend’s Wedding. It was 5th October and it was Alona’s Wedding Day. With an arrival of a lovely photographer, Olga OSHIBIKO we ended up being four of us in the charming, individually designed signature suite of The Goring Hotel in Victoria. Four of us for a couple of hours of makeup, hair preparation and a lots of laughter. It was all very comfortable and memorable morning.
Alona is beautiful young girl who has never worn too much makeup. Always preferred to be more natural and always loved keeping fit with her exercising so the skin looks healthy anyway, she expressed. When we started talking about Bridal Makeup, Alona expressed herself that she did not want to look anything different on her Big Day. Just a little bit of makeup. Just a little something to enhance the face features, she said. It was quite clear that Makeup I would have to do is very natural, clean, just simply radiant with not to much on the eyes. And, if I was going to do eyeliner on the top of the eyelids, it would have to be a soft one and most probably only half way. Starting to draw a liner from the outer corner of the top of the eyelids and finishing half way and then softly smudged. Keeping the inner corner of the top of the eyelids light and adding a bit of shimmer eye shadow to open the eyes. And, that’s what we did. I used Alona’s beautiful face features and a touch of makeup to enhace her Bridal Look and, it worked.
By Terry Densiliss Serum Foundation
Densiliss Foundation is an anti-aging serum foundation with Densiliss technology with semi matte finish and medium to full coverage. You need a small amount for the whole face and is easily buildable. I have been using this foundation for almost three years on and off and, I always go back to use it again.
By Terry Cellularose CC Lumi Serum in n.1. Immaculate Light
Gives you luminosity with brightening effect. Can be mixed with Densiliss Foundation or any other you like. Or, use it on its own or as a primer.
Laura Mercier Invisible Loose Setting Powder
Invisible, transparent with light-reflecting particles, this loose setting powder from Laura Mercier is. Works well in all skin tones and it’s suitable for photography too.
Rituals Magic Powder Blush in Plum Dusk
What a pretty colour Plum Dusk is from Rituals products. We might know Rituals more as body care but the make up range is pretty cool with natural ingredients.
By Terry Ombre Blackstars
Ombre Blackstars are strong pigmented crayons with 24 hours staying power. Amazing shimmer and n.3 Blond Opal worked beautifully for the inner corner for opening the eyes and, n.1 Black Pearl for the outer corner of the eyelids for more smokey effect.
Maybelline Colossal Masc Black Waterproof Mascara
Collagen-enriched plumping formula which instantly boost the lashes and being waterproof helps for the occasion. So suited Alona’s lashes. Not all waterproof mascara’s I like but this Maybelline it gets 9 out of 10.
